How to quickly save a MS Office file (.doc) to PDF as an image (non-indexable)?

The built-in PDF saver in Word can save only indexed documents (the text can be selected)
. Using Adobe Acrobat XI, I could not find the option to save to PDF like an image.
There are instructions on the Internet from 2009 that then the "Print as image" checkbox was in the Adobe PDF virtual printer.
