How to quickly but efficiently implement a chat in the Bitrix ecosystem?
Colleagues, good afternoon! We are implementing a project for a client, where 1/4 of the function is occupied by messaging between users in the form of a chat. Interface directly poured VK "Personal messages", but only text and avatars. Has anyone integrated something like this in the Bitrix ecosystem? We need something simple, functional and convenient.

Fast and high quality is not compatible with Bitrix.
When my friends (and I too) hear "bitrix" - they run away in horror.
Here you can even come up with a joke:
- Say the password from the admin panel
- No! I will never give you access!
- Guys bring Bitrix
- NO I WILL SAY EVERYTHING ONLY NOT BITRIX.
What version of Bitrix? Is it a corporal (Bitrix24 is not a cloud)? If yes, then you can completely use the standard messenger . Cloud file storage has a lot of other functionality there (there is a desktop application and a mobile one, for example). Here is the documentation .
If not this edition, what do you mean by users? Are these site visitors not related to your company (customers)? If yes, then it is better to use third-party solutions: something like a live site and the like.
