How to quickly and beautifully make a test on a separate domain?

I want to make a test for children on the knowledge of new material (choosing the correct answer from the suggested ones). I don’t like Google’s service, it looks ugly and there is no way to show questions one by one. WordPress comes to mind, but I did not find templates with such functionality.
Is there a plugin or something else?

I would write quickly in pure php + mysql (for storing results) + jQuery (for smoothness, validation, a little ajax).
