How to put video on rails app page?

rails + nginx + passenger
I have a question about watching a video on a rail application page.
The file is not available at mysite/myvideo.avi.
I'm getting a rails invalid format
error ActionController::UnknownFormat Is there
any way I can serve this file without using Rails? Directly
