How to put quotation marks, parentheses in bulk in Excel?
Hello dear!
Such a question, there are functions with which you can implement the mass affixing of characters:
="("&A1&")"
= CONCATENATE(D1;A1;D1)
But the question is this: "("&A1&")"
A1 - numeric values, As you know, with this function, any number takes the form of a negative one, that is, it was 1000, it became -1000.
How to get rid of this , you need exactly the output to the screen (1000)?
Or how to put brackets in other editors if the column is only from the numbers 1234567 ?
Thanks to all !

If you need brackets purely visually, instead of functions, you can simply assign the required cells a custom format, for example, "(# ##0);(-# ##0);(@)". In the given example, any number\string entered into the cell formatted by it will be displayed in brackets. It does not affect the sign of the number. You can also work with it as with a normal numeric value.
If it is necessary that the value in the cell has brackets, then the format will not work.
If the presence of other invisible characters in the resulting string is unimportant, just as it does not matter that it becomes really a string and not a number, you can use the formula (I have Excel English, do not blame me)
="("&TEXT(A13;"#") &")"&CHAR(160)
The formula adds a non-breaking space after the last bracket, so the result turns into a text string with one "extra" for us, but invisible character. Any mathematical operations, of course, with it will be impossible without reverse conversion to a number. But for such cases it is easier to use formatting, as I suggested above.
