How to put old versions of packages on linux?
In general, I did apt-get upgrade & apt-get update. now this bastard offers versions of headers from kernel 3.18. and by uname the system is seen as 3.14. And apparently the tool installer for VirtualBox also pulls information from uname and defines the system as 3.14. Accordingly, when installing guest tools, the script swears that it cannot find the 3.14 kernel headers. but now I can’t even install them, because the repositories contain 3.18. *rukalitso*
ps
all against the background of attempts to roll guest modules for a virtual machine in VirtualBox. from the CD that is being mounted. if you install from vurtualbox-guest-x11 repository. then in general then X11 cannot be started.
