I noticed one feature of Bitrix: if in a multilevel menu at the top level you put a link to a section deeper than the first level, for example /section/subsection/, then Bitrix refuses to display section data such as a link, id or text, displaying only an empty layout. Moreover, if you try to display the original $arResult array, this item is there.
I often face the task of putting an item from level 2 and deeper into the top section of the menu.
How can I bypass this feature of Bitrix?

It can be hacked into result_modifier by increasing the DEPTH_LEVEL value by 1 for the desired items and their sub-items
