How to put a photo with geotags on Google Maps or Yandex maps?
There are photos taken by a smartphone with EXIF geolocations. I want to add a photo to some available maps so that I can see it myself and share with friends.
I spent an hour in vain looking for an adequate method. In google maps I found only panoramio, which seems to be removed from service by Google, it promises a month for moderation of photos without a guarantee of their placement on google maps. In Yandex, I found only the possibility of attaching a photo to objects existing on the map. But my places are mostly natural objects, i.e. not houses and not firms. There are no ready-made objects on the map for them.
Advise a working method for an ordinary user without programming.

Received a response from Yandex support. They suggest using Yandex photos and linking to maps there. In this case, the photos are shown on the internal Yandex photo map. They do not guarantee the placement of all photos on the photo layer in Yandex maps, they somehow select them during moderation. But you can share links to the photos themselves on Yandex photos. I'll try. For now, we will assume that this is a solution.
I don't know if this is the "correct way", but one of these days I took a couple of panoramas on my smartphone and then found this combination:
- open the photo
- press SHARE
- select Google Maps
- I get a message that the pictures are gone, and will be reviewed and may be approved.
It hasn't been released yet (two weeks ago). I don't know how long it takes.
