How to push changes to a repository on your server via Kraken on Win 10?
Welcome all.
Tell me what could be the problem:
I'm trying to push changes from a local machine on Windows 10 to a repository installed on my virtual server on Gogs, but it gives an error "Request failed with error 401". If I use the GitHub desktop application, then when I try to push changes to the server, I get the error "The remote disconnected. Check your Internet connection and try again".
In this case, the repository is successfully cloned to the local machine.
There is one nuance with GitKraken, if I open the terminal through the menu and enter the git push command, then the changes are successfully made.
And yet, if I use programs like smartGit or Sourcetree or Tortoisegit, then there are no problems with them.
The server is running ubuntu version 16 and gogs.
I think the problem lies in the authorization, tk. the first time I poisoned data to the server via smartGit, I entered my gogs admin login credentials and they were registered in the Credential Manager, after which the changes were successfully saved.
I understand that you can score and use other programs, but I want to understand this problem.
I would appreciate any help or advice.
