During the promotion of one of the automotive sites, different traffic sources were used. The site itself is almost one page. One of the sources shows an abnormal number and quality of visits, highlighted anomalies on the screenshots - including gender (for "women" the quality is many times higher, although the site is about cars), and most importantly, the number of visits made by one user can be seen on the screenshots, that 40 people brought over 4000 visits with unrealistic quality both for the site and in comparison with other tools.
QUESTION:how to hit the traffic source correctly and what objective evidence can be provided that this is a fraud? There is only one reaction to the current arguments - "mistakes in defining visits as a metric." The volume is large enough for this promotion and I really don’t want to stupidly drain the budget.

As I understand it, this is some kind of contractor that brings you traffic through links from their sites? And you pay for traffic, so it is important for you to prove that it is a fraud?
