How to protect yourself from the theft of the game?

I'm making a game in Unity and now I'm contacting Y8 to start a collaboration. How do I protect my game from being stolen because I'm an indie developer and not legally listed as a company or anything (I'm 17)? What needs to be done for safety?

Strictly speaking, no way. If they steal, then sue. You have witnesses of how you develop your game. Perhaps some other concepts that you did not share. This will help indirectly.
However, hardly anyone needs a dubious unfinished game without a development team, that is, without you. So it is you who represents the main value, and they cannot steal from you. And do not be sure that the game will immediately bring millions. There is a chance, but it's far from certain.
By the way, ideas cannot be protected in any way, not even by copyright. So if a company looks at your game and makes (from scratch) about the same (like a clone), then it's absolutely legal.
