How to protect yourself from ssh key hacking?

I think many people know about such a service as shodan. Having broken through the IP of his VDS on it, the site showed the ssh key and fingerprint. After that, I punched a few other people's ip addresses, and I was also given their ssh keys and fingerprints. Question: Can attackers get access to my VDS using this data? And if so, how can you protect yourself from it?

It's very easy to defend yourself:

  1. Don't give your secret key to anyone. Encrypt it from above with a password, if it really itchs.
  2. Use different keys for different servers. If one of them is compromised, the rest will not have to be changed. Although what is difficult about changing the keys?

He should show them - that's why they are public keys. And the private key is kept by you
