How to protect an idea at the stage of crowdfunding? And is it necessary?

Tell me if you need to protect the idea from potential competitors? If yes, how to do it?
Is a publication on one's family's crowdfunding platform an invention claim? Or can it be used by another company that, for example, has the potential to implement it faster?

It is high time to understand that an idea without implementation is worthless. Don't bother.

Timur St : The value of the idea itself is zero.
They are worth something (in descending order): a working business model, a loyal audience, technical implementation.

it is not entirely clear why the idea is worthless in this case. The Patent Office is doing well and patents are being granted all the time. And a patent is not a business model, but just a way to solve a problem and not necessarily already implemented by someone
