How to protect a video clip from being copied on the site? Solutions? Services?
We are creating an online learning platform for a 3D modeling course. It is planned to embed a video in each lesson of the course.
The customer does not want to publish this video on YouTube or any other public video services, he wants the video, if possible, not to be so easy to download or transfer by link to anyone else.
Therefore, we look in the direction of our player for the site, but the final dimension + the need for pre-processing of the video scares.
What do you recommend as solutions?
Or maybe there are some paid video services like YouTube to implement such opportunities?
In general, we need protection ("from the fool") from copying video clips from the closed section of the site.

"From the fool" you can defend yourself. There are plenty of examples in Google for "protection of video from copying"
but in general - there is no way to prohibit copying. if the video is in the user's browser, it is already on the user's computer. and in any way you will not forbid him to take the video.

Everything that is displayed on the client's monitor can be filmed using programs such as camstudio. You can do it like in a big movie - insert watermarks invisible to the naked eye to each user, so that in case of a leak, you can understand who leaked the video. But this can also be bypassed, although not so easy.
If there are not many videos, consider the option with Boomstream. They charge by the hour for storage, but that might work for you.
It was already correctly noted above that as soon as the content appears on the client side, you do not control it. Alternatively, you can consider DRM, but it is quite expensive. To cut off the very narrow-minded, you can use the hotlink protection and pay-per-view systems (for example, we have such ), but you need to understand that this raises the threshold, but does not remove it completely.
