How to properly prepare a Pull Request if a lot of files have been changed?

Guys, I made a task that covered several other subtasks at once and all the changes are somehow interconnected. For example, I made utilities that I later used in other tasks. In general, the changes drew on more than 150 files. How to prepare all this so that the comrades do not nail me when examining the PR? Create a root branch and create branches for subtasks from it?
