How to properly mark up the floor plan in Canvas?

Hi everybody. There is a task to develop an interactive scheme of the hall with the possibility of choosing seats. Of the tools, the choice was made in favor of Canvas. In general, the development plan has already been drawn up, but one important question remains:
Hall schemes can be of various forms, respectively, so far it seems that one of the options is in the admin. panels can be loaded into the canvas image, generate the required number of objects and place them on this image, thereby independently creating any form. Actually, the question itself is, what, perhaps, more correct options for solving this problem?
