How to properly integrate TeamCity into an existing project?

There is a fairly large project written in PHP 7.2 + MySQL. Each new version is uploaded to the server via GIT, I want to integrate TeamCity. How to do it right? Is there a normal documentation or guideline for how TeamCity and PHP work?
