How to properly include media.match.js?

Hello. I used window.marchMedia() in the script and to support it in IE9 I included media.match.js in the site header.
<script src="js/media.match.js"></script>
The problem is that this script does not work when opening the page in IE9. I checked it locally. Maybe this is a problem. How to connect it correctly? In what place (before or after which scripts / styles)?

There is an example in the project repository. Follow him. Because additional libraries the script does not use, you can connect it first. If you want help in a specific situation, post the specific code. Until then everything should work
