How to properly get rid of duplicate pages with from tags?

Hello!
Not so long ago, in webmaster tools, I began to notice that pages like /page/450960/?from=email are duplicates of /page/450960/ and I understand this very well.
The question is how to properly explain to search engines that this is the same page? Now there are 2 options:
1) through .htaccess 301 redirect 2) check the url in the site code and if
there is ?from=email then add rel="canonical"
this is the from label.

What about rel="canonical"? Should it be set? Will it be okay if they are on all pages of the site? I looked at large projects like Ozon and Eldorado, there this very el = "canonical" is installed on all pages
