How to properly disable dependencies installed in a Gulp project?

Please explain how to correctly disable unwanted dependencies in a Gulp project.
In particular, I'm interested in disabling Eslint

Стереть упоминание из gulpfile.js
Удалить из директории с проектом с помощью команды npm uninstall имя_пакета -s
