There is a non-trivial task for me, in real time to collect metrics from the Instagram profile (subscriptions, mensions, likes, comments) and transfer them in two directions - to the site (this will work via web sockets) and somewhere else :). Attention, the question is how to organize a server-side, on nodejs, php or python it will be easier, do you need a database, maybe it is possible to limit yourself to firebase, collect data from instagram with web hooks? In short, a lot of questions, but I need to figure it out, so there is a huge request to write on the merits. If it is not possible to write down the points, tell me where to dig, although in general there is a figurative understanding, but it would be good to clarify, for a more substantive search for information.

Hire a specialist who will do everything himself.
Collecting metrics is not the most important thing, the main thing is what you will do with it next. If you need to store historical data, then apparently without a database, nowhere. if you only need to aggregate and output, then you can do it without a database.
