How to properly connect the NET-SNMP library to a QT project?

Link to the net-snmp library
I'm trying to do everything according to the guide , but there init_snmp("snmpapp");is an error
on the line I'm a beginner and I think I did something wrong. I found the information that it is necessary to compile the lib on my own, but I don’t know how to do it. I ask for help and guidance
