How to properly configure L2TP between offices?

Good afternoon. Having suffered with the issue of creating a separate subnet for VPN clients in order to limit their speed, I realized my mistakes. Now the task is to link the routers also into a separate address space. In general, the idea is clear, but the question arises ...
1. I already have a PPP profile (for connecting employees from home) - vpn_users.
1.1 Created another one for connecting routers - vpn_routers
2. In the L2TP Server settings, you need to specify a default profile, vpn_users is now specified there
3. What to do when you need to use another profile (vpn_routers), which default profile should be specified in this case?
Sorry if I confused the materiel, I just want to figure it out, and not copy-paste from all sorts of articles.

A profile in the server settings is a set of parameters that the server uses during its work.
For example, using compression is "Use compression = Yes"
A user profile is a set of settings that apply to a particular user and (sometimes) must be respected by the client that establishes the tunnel. For example, assigning your own DNS server to the client when connecting is "DNS Server: 8.8.8.8"
Thus, the server profile and the user profile do not have to match for everything to work as you want, for the user profile it is enough to follow the server profile settings, other parameters may differ .

Default profile for that and default - it is one. When creating a user, you can specify his profile
