How to properly configure data distribution between servers and the client?

There is access to the company's CDB through their server, my potential application is its platform. Possibilities of data sampling are small (with the help of several get-options), even the most elementary one - you cannot specify the amount of data to be sent (100 units is a lot). In addition, this data is just id , then you need to make queries by id the corresponding number of times.
(I don’t want to load it on the client (Angular). With the back-end experience is not enough as I am the front. As a server - a node.)
I would like to send this data in 10-20 units of np, while pre-parsing them convenient for yourself in a way. Does anyone have experience with how best to set this up? I thought about temporarily storing them, but it's kind of stupid. Data is constantly added to the CDB, all put and post requests are made to it.
