How to properly approach the layout for mobile devices in the presence of a design layout for large screens?
Hello,
please share your experience on how to behave correctly if the customer has a design layout for large screens only, but he also needs a layout for mobile devices. Considering responsive layout. How to explain to the customer about how the final layout should look like and how to hand over the project to him, because there is no design layout with which to compare the result. There are cases when, based on the design for large screens, it is not possible to make a layout for small screens, taking into account the customer's Wishlist. What to do in this case, to explain that a separate design is needed, to refuse work if the customer rested his horn?
Thank you.

In such cases, I always offer two options:
1. I make an adaptive completely at my discretion. Claims in the style of "can't you show this block not on the left, but on the right?" not accepted.
2. I'm waiting for design layouts adaptive for each screen resolution. No initiative from me.
Otherwise, you will spend a lot of time on statements and end up doing a lot of unnecessary work.
Make the site as usual. Mobiles are quite capable of opening ordinary sites)) They have all the rules with scaling. I even think that the customer will stand it, since he himself does not imagine how it would look on mobile phones. If it looks the same as a large site, then it will suit him)
