There is a site.com.ua, which has good positions in Ukrainian Yandex and Google. It is necessary to promote the copy - website.ru - in Russia. The language of the sites is the same - Russian. It is not possible to change the structure of the site, design, layout, but it will be possible to rewrite the texts.
The question is, who tried to promote the same sites with different content? How are the search engines reacting? Is it possible to drop in the issuance of the Ukrainian site or difficult promotion of the Russian one? What measures to take to separate sites?

I tried to promote even with the same content in different regions of the Russian Federation (car dealers), the sites differed only in contacts and the news / promotions section - there are no problems with positions.
There was one case when the site stuck together with a copy in another region - a mirror robot error, after corresponding with Yandex technical support, the problem was resolved.
