How to programmatically track text selection and copying in Windows?

I am writing a keylogger, I have already implemented keyboard and mouse keystrokes. There was a task to track some actions (mouse clicks, copying text, files, etc.) I can’t figure out how to implement this and is it possible to implement it at all using c++.
