How to prevent video from showing in browser in a separate window?

Recently (like it didn’t happen before?), video inserts on sites strive, when you scroll through them, to get out in a separate window on top of the content and continue to play the video. Maybe it’s cool for someone - you are doing something, and you watch the video in a separate window. But this effect got me. If it is not clear what it is about, then here is an example:

Can this "feature" be disabled? Interested in solutions for MS Edge and Firefox.

This is not a separate window, but a regular modal on the site. Works through js, it is impossible to disable it from the browser, except to cut it with some adblock or disable scripts

Adblock Plus.
After installing it, no annoying ads or unwanted videos appear anymore.

everything can be turned off.
Solution for Firefox:
1) Disable Autoplay via settings.
2) Install add-ons:
- uBlock origin
- uMatrix
Next, play with these two extensions.
Through uBlock origin, you can immediately block this pop-up div with an eyedropper as an option. umatrix will block by default all scripts that are not from the site, which will also be a plus.
