How to prevent screen from turning off when closing the lid on Lenovo ThinkPad T420?

Given: Lenovo ThinkPad T420 and any monitor. The main monitor is integrated. If you close the cover, the integrated monitor turns off and the external monitor becomes the main monitor. Who faced? On my old emachines, the monitor turned off, but not as a device - windows and the taskbar remained in their places.

And what system? In Windows 7, power management can set the action to close the lid.

I have HP, I know for sure that when closing everything flies to an external monitor, but whether the taskbar flies to it - I didn’t notice, I can look on Monday, I’m too lazy to crawl under the table at home and turn off the monitor from the desktop
