How to prevent Outlook from eating up disk space?

Good afternoon.
rds users use outlook 2016 working with the mail server via imap and it eats up space on the local drive. So I understand that it caches How can I turn it off?

Outlokk - File - Account settings. Select the entry - "Edit". Uncheck "Use cached mode" in the options.
