How to prevent an android application from opening the keyboard?
Actually, a hat. Is it possible to use standard or third-party methods to prohibit input in the created application or to prohibit calling the keyboard. That is, if there is a text field in it, it was impossible to write. I did not find such a setting in the application permissions. Preferably without root

If without editing the application - connect a hardware keyboard to the tablet / smartphone (the miniusb adapter - usb costs about 150r plus in the same fix price for 99r buy a usb extended numeric keypad, you don’t need to use it), android will see it and make it the default when activating the input field, i.e. the screen will not pop up.
ps if not at all, there is a bluetooth keyboard simulator based on another android device (googled a lot of them )
