How to prepare Apache configs so that Chef can deploy them to servers and mamenit variables in these files to the desired values?

there are Apache configuration files, these files need to be brought into the appropriate form, i.e. prescribe variables that will change depending on the server to which they are uploaded by Chef. Tell me how to do it better??
