How to point a domain to a subfolder of a VPS server?

I'm learning how to work with servers. There is a VPS with LEMP configured and, by and large, there is nothing else - a control panel with the simplest functions (boot, reboot, reinstall, etc.) and load graphs.
The obvious solution has not yet been found, and Google has not suggested anything particularly useful. Although maybe I misunderstood something. It would be desirable, at least to learn in what direction to dig.
Thanks in advance!

you need to set up dns - link the server IP address with the domain
; set up a web server - apache or nginx - create the necessary virthost, in which you specify the location of the site files on the disk, the site name, etc.
What exactly do you not understand?
