How to point a domain to a host whose website is deployed on Docker?

On the provider's website - I indicated the ns server of the VPS hosting
. On this hosting, I have deployed a site on the docker.
sudo docker-compose up
Locally, the site opens on localhost:8080
There is a dedicated ip address for the VPS - {123}.{123}.{123}.{123}
Which port to set docker nginx to and what to write in /etc/hosts so that my site opens on the desired domain deployed on docker?
