How to please Google and conform to schema.org?
I have pages with events and there are 2 types of them:
offline and online
, everything is clear with the first one, but online does not have a venue and the Google markup check is swearing. Says they say You
must specify a value for the location field.
for type Event
and accordingly for location then name and address
What is the right thing to do?
And 1 more question in general about schema.org and its vision by Google. thing has a url parameter, on a page with a bunch of events - it's understandable, but what about on the event page itself. Do not specify? But again, Gulla says:
"It is recommended to fill in the url field. Specify the value if it is known."
I answer:
"It's known, motherfucker, this page is your motherfucking."
Or is there a way to repeat the canonical url in the meta tags?
