How to play MPD stream in web browser?
Good afternoon!
Purpose: Listen to the audio stream at work (stream from the MPD server from home (mp3 vbr, 44khz))
Problem: It is impossible to listen to the stream via a direct link to the server due to corporate firewall restrictions (bluecoat) - it starts downloading a file to check for vulnerabilities, but never ends, as the flow has no end.
The obvious solution is to launch a flash player on the web server (the same as the mpd server) and set it on the mp3 stream. Just listen to the sound in the browser.
Another problem: Using a typical flash player, I'm trying to open a stream. The stream is not started - not buffered, nothing. Here is the correspondence with the uppod support: uppod.ru/talk_9892
The situation is complicated by the fact that IE has some problems with HTML5.
How to get around such a problem? Do you need some special buffering mechanism on the site to play such a stream?
If anything, the stream at 0x11.ru/mpd/mpd.mp3 is behind a reverse proxy, but it works fine.
