How to plan your further study? Where to begin?
Hello.
A little before history.
I am a student (currently 4 courses), in the 2nd year I started studying programming, I chose Java to start (at that time I had knowledge of html \ css + knowledge of C \ C ++ \ C # at the lab work execution level.). I studied various video lessons, first OOP, then in conjunction with the database, then WEB, made several projects and uploaded them to github, I never got around to spring and hibernation, after which I decided to start looking for a job. There were 3 interviews in total: 1 failed due to English. language. (didn’t even get to that part), 2 failed because the company needed a person for the whole day and they couldn’t take a student (didn’t get to that part either), 3 interview can be said passed, the essence consisted in the fact that I was given the task to make a project on technologies that were not in my resume (they say, can I quickly learn new things). I completed the task and they took me to the position of a junior, the salary is not big ($300+), but you understand - experience decides. As it turned out, at work I had to work not only with java, but also with php, js. Not that I was dissatisfied, but by count. there were much fewer tasks in java than in php (somewhere 20% - java, 80% - php). In terms of time, we can say that it took about a year to study and 3 months to find a job, that is, at the beginning of the 3rd course, I already started working. And now I’ve been working for a year now, I’m coping with the tasks, but there’s little practice in java, + I noticed that I forget the basic concepts of the language, or most likely I didn’t learn / worked them out well. Looking over the interview questions, I realize that I can't answer them. Also at one time I scored on such a topic as algorithms and data structures and missed the basic concepts of programming in general, which is the basis of the basics, and if we add frameworks to all this, it comes out very, very much. And I don't even know what to do first.
Tell me where to start?
Everyone is welcome here: your experience, how you coped with a large flow of information, links to materials, and so on.

I think you need to find a job that you like. Because in a profession where you need to constantly learn, and the profession of a programmer is exactly the same, you need to have enthusiasm, interest. Otherwise, nothing good will come of it.
Java and PHP are generally different areas.
When I taught Java 10 years ago, the course was very useful to me: java-course.ru
Now I went to the site - it has grown, and then there was only the "HR Department", and I even printed it out :)
Unlike books, this is a practical guide .
