How to place labels on the map so that they do not overlap?

Hello!
I use leafletjs in the project for drawing objects on the map. I used the label plugin to display object labels, but the number of objects increased and the map turned out to be a mess.
Share your experience, maybe someone solved such a problem using leaflet and plugins for it or in conjunction with another library / framework.
Thank you!

Filter objects by importance, you don't need to show all the mess.
Or go to the next level and not just show labels, but make a style out of your data, for example on Mapbox GL . There are already built-in and reversals of inscriptions and displacement.

Easy way: upload layers to nextgis.com and pull rendered tiles from it. Rendering there is carried out by the QGIS engine, which has more advanced label placement algorithms.
On a paid plan, you can enable cors and pull feature attributes via ajax.
