How to perform an action on completion of downloading a file from NGINX?

The service creates a large file and allows the client to download it 1 time. It is advisable to delete the file immediately after the download is completed.

Is there a way for NGINX to execute a script when it has finished downloading a file from a specific location?

As I understand it, the entry in the log appears exactly at the end of the file upload. But once a second to look at what appeared in the log of a new one is a so-so option.
