How to pass text to PhoneGap Social Sharing plugin?

Introductory: Ionicframework 1.2.4, PhoneGap Social Sharing plugin
Button:

<button class="button button-positive" onclick="window.plugins.socialsharing.share('news.title', 'newstext')" style="font-size: 17px;">Поділитися&nbsp;<i class="icon ion-speakerphone"></i></button>

Where news.title and newstext are passed from the controller, but unfortunately not passed to the button, although they are displayed on the page.
What could be wrong?
