How to pass other user parameters in passportjs?

Nodejs, express, passport backend.
When authenticating, passport saves the user a connect.sid cookie with encrypted user id data secret, sault. I also want to store the user's role, photo link, first name and last name. How can I add additional information about the user to the standard data?
