How to pass action from module to Yii2 root view?

There is a module located at the address modules/privateCabinet, in its views/layouts/pcabinet.php there is a form that, with the action attribute, should transfer data to the root views/site/editdata.php, but when transferring data, an address bar of the form localhost/web/privatecabinet is formed /views/site/editdata, of course, there is no such path. Specifying the full path does not help. Tell me how, after all, to transfer the necessary data from the module?
