How to parse .XLS, .XLSX, .ODS in a browser using JS?

Has anyone faced this issue?
It is necessary to parse the XLS, .XLSX, .ODS document line by line using JS and transfer it to the server as JSON
Is this even possible?
Can the JS file downloaded from me start interacting with the api of the same MS Office installed on the client?
