How to parse spec. characters from XML in XSLT transformation?

There is a special character in the XML schema used for the XSLT transformation: The character is parsed

just like plain text and is displayed incorrectly in the transformation:

The nodes themselves from XML are output through a template using value-of:

ordinary? I tried using xsl:substring and analyze-string, but it didn't work.
