How to painlessly move to a new domain controller?

Hello everyone
I have a domain controller "company.com", as this creates big problems with the external domain, we decided to transfer to a new domain controller "dc.company.com".

We transferred all user data to a new domain controller that was created from scratch, tested, everything works, but it creates a new user account in the client PC.
In the Users folder, it is marked as Petrov.DC, but I would like to painlessly transfer clients to a new domain while saving data in client PCs.
I read an article where it was possible to forcefully change the domain name through group policies, "Setting the default domain for logging in" registered COMPANY and the data was returned, but I do not have any administrator rights, and others that we set for each group. Well, if you disable this policy, then everything worked.

The question is how to painlessly move to a new domain controller at the client? Or is it possible to change the name of the domain controller instead of DC to COMPANY?

And what for problems with the external domain? It seems to me the opposite is convenient.
Earlier, a utility was advised here to transfer a user account from domain to domain without losing settings and profile files. User Profile Wizard https://www.forensit.com/domain-migration.html

From the question:
Rename Default User to Default User.temp
Current user profile to Default User.
Log in to the domain and an account in it.
A copy with the desired name is created from the Default User.
Rename Default User.temp back to Default User.
