How to override NAV_STRING in the bitrix:catalog.section component?

Faced the following problem: some list of elements is formed by the bitrix:catalog.section component. I need to add some elements from another infoblock to it. How can NAV_STRING be changed in result_modifier.php to accommodate the new elements? Are there any other standard ways to accomplish this task?

You need to copy the component itself into your namespace and add the necessary logic to component.php, where the array of elements is formed
