How to overcome the problem when searching for a part of a word with the dictionary (wordforms) enabled?

Specified in the index settings:
min_infix_len = 3
+ using my own dictionary with wordforms:
dict = keywords

wordforms = /home/cron_scripts/../wordform.txt contain the substring "tire", but that was not the case.
sphinx in this case considers records containing such words as:
tires, cars, arshins, etc. to be relevant.
Has anyone experienced this?

Maybe you need to search for "tires *", without an asterisk at the beginning of the word?
