How to overcome Outlook freezes?

Good day everyone.
There was the following problem with Outlook :
when you try to open for replying/editing a letter containing a large amount of text and formatting styles, Outlook freezes for about a minute. At the same time, the message size is relatively small - 210KB.
The problem does not reproduce when viewing the letter (i.e. when you do not try to reply to it or edit the draft letter).
What I tried to do:
Offline viewing.
Switch editor mode to plain text.
Turn off all possible autocorrect features and the like.
Disable add-ons.
Run in /safe mode.
None of this helped.
Observations:
In the task manager during the freeze, there is no significant processor activity, memory consuming, disk or network load.
On which versions it is reproduced:
The problem is reproduced on Outook 2013-2016 with and without updates.

Hello.
Try turning off automatic signing. If the problem does not reproduce in this case, then check your signature for the content of hyperlinks to inaccessible resources.
