How to overcome conflict of extension styles with page styles?

We have a Google Chrome extension that uses Bootstrap and a script to create modal windows arctic-modals. As a result, extension forms are displayed incorrectly on some sites. I believe this is due to conflicting CSS styles that need to be injected into the page in order for the forms to be rendered via content.js. Is there a way to avoid this?

You can add prefixes for extension styles, then the extension will display as intended and the site will display as intended
