How to organize video surveillance of branches with camera viewing in our CRM?

Input data:

  • About 1000 branches
  • Each branch has its own owner/director and there is a general director
  • There must be access to cameras inside our CRM
  • Directors have access only to the cameras of their branches, we have access to all
  • Branch directors install cameras on their own and must pass us parameters / ip / something else to connect

Which free/paid solution can I use? Video recording is not a priority, the main thing is live viewing

Buy software tracer or macroscope.
Equipment in the branches (head, also known as a video recorder) should preferably be approximately the same. And preferably one manufacturer, just for convenience and unification. (look Hikvision, Highwatch, Trassir)
Well, you will figure out how to get access to them yourself, I would make a vpn channel before them.
Next, we merge all this onto a server, for example, with a tracer, from which we send it to your site \ CRM in the required format - mjpeg, h264, rtsp ... etc.
From the free one, in my opinion, the 1st option is ZoneMinder. If you can. Mnu works, though just like a server.
And I would not enter this into CRM ... separately make users on the tracer (or integrate with the user base of your CRM) and let them look at themselves calmly

If recording is not a priority, nothing prevents you from connecting on demand to the camera and starting to receive a video stream. You make a vpn network with branches, when you open a page with video viewing and activate the player on the server, run the conditional ffmpeg and start repacking the video from rtsp into the required one for output to the site (you need to have the estimated number of cameras online and design the interface so that the conditional operator cannot open a tab in the background with all cameras and remove it to the background, while the cameras continue to be transcoded). If no one wants to watch video from the camera, the stream from it does not stretch. Cheap and cheerful, but having bought software for a couple of million and for a large amount of hardware, to integrate with crm you will perform the same operations, while the grid will be loaded.
As for "the director of the branch puts the video at his discretion." You have no idea what fantastic options you can buy on the market, they may not support the integration options that you think are available by default. Decide on the model range, I recommend HiWatch for consideration. If one branch has 4-16 cameras, you can use HD-TVI solutions, they are analog, but they can give rtsp in the same way.
Another thought on the other side. You can come to the conditional ivideon and invite them to make a joint project. They take care of the delivery-processing-storage of the video for a penny, they give you a form to insert on the portal page.
